DAYS 'all you can eat' buffet

The girls enjoyed their House Christmas meal by celebrating it at Days all you can eat buffet. They battled it out to see who could eat the most.......and the winner was Sharon!!!

Toynbee old and new gathered for some Prosecco cocktails and pampering...............I am not sure I will get any of them to do my makeup though!!

A busy month.....

It has been a busy month in house. We all had a lovely Friday evening when we invited the Woodard girls for prosecco cocktails. The evening then continued with a bit of Toynbee pampering....though by some of the photos I am not sure I will be asking any of the girls to do my make up!!!

Days 'all you can eat' buffet was great fun and the girls battled it out to see who could eat the most! It was a close call between Sharon, Hannah, Harriet and Steph............but nobody was able to beat Sharon and her 8 Plates.

The girls have been busy rehearsing for Cabaret, which showcases this week. I have already seen the dress rehearsal and it looks to be a great show..................Good luck girls!!

And finally we have just put up our Christmas tree, so it really is 'beginning to feel a lot like Christmas' Ho Ho Ho!!!

Being Creative.....

In house 'caring' has been our ALP focus for the term. At the start of a new academic year and for many in house a new school also, we wanted to encourage the girls to be more caring and supportive to each other. The girls can nominate other girls for caring stars if they feel they have been extra caring or that they have seen caring behaviour. A big thank you to Hannah, Jess, Rose S and Alma for help designing the board

A big thank you to Tori who has started on our Female and fearless display. We are focussing on how women have changed the world and how Toynbee will change the world. With an array of wonderful academic, musical and sporting talents in house, I am sure Toynbee could change the world in many ways.. The display is still to be finished but I am sure you will agree from the photo, it already looks great!

And finally.............after much nagging from me, the girls are eventually getting round to completing their identify boards! Thank you girls!
